Tennis lessons at Bubwith Tennis Club

Bubwith Tennis Club, in partnership with I Can Play Tennis, offers coaching sessions for all ability levels and all ages – both children and adults.

Working with Matt Ward and his team, our sessions are specifically designed to introduce newcomers to the sport, encourage the involvement of children and young people, and to help everyone get more out of tennis, whether they play socially or competitively.

We have been working with I Can Play Tennis for over 10 years. Not only do they provide regular, high quality coaching throughout the year, they also sponsor the club and support all of our events.

Coaching sessions are for members only (see our membership page to find out how you can join). Whilst primary school-aged children are entitled to membership free of charge, we require an up-to-date membership form to be completed for each season.

Junior coaching at Bubwith Tennis Club is held during term time and is booked in termly blocks. I Can Play Tennis offer tennis and multi-sports camps at other venues during school holidays. Adult coaching is paid for on a session-by-session basis.

“Coaching for the juniors this summer has been a success with 10 new children joining in over the summer months. This was in part due to the success of the Davis Cup Day and all the excitement that brought. For the autumn and winter we will be running junior coaching on Wednesday evenings. The new Monday evening Intermediate coaching with Eddie Fothergill is proving a success and my Ladies coaching on Tuesday evening is running well too with around 6 ladies each week. These sessions are planned to continue for the Autumn and Winter and beyond as long as there is demand. ”
